Toyota Yaris was the most expensive executive sedan in its segment with prices going up to Rs 14 Lakhs. Now, the base variant of the sedan gets costlier by Rs 54,000 along with the CVT variant getting costlier by Rs 4,000.
As we see, the prices of Toyota Yaris have been jacked up. Earlier, its base variant was priced lower than that of Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Now, the base variant gets costlier by a whopping Rs 54,000 at a price of Rs 9.29 Lakhs. Along with this, also the CVT variant is pricier by Rs 4,000. One good thing about the Yaris is that it is the safest in its segment. It offers a segment first 7 Airbags with ABS, EBD and Brake Assist as standard fitment across all variants. It also comes with safety features such as Hill Start Assist Control, Vehicle Stability Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Auto Headlamps, Rear Parking Sensors with a camera and more.

Other features onboard the Yaris includes Projector Headlamps, LED DRLs and Shark Fin Antenna on the exterior. Inside the sedan, there is a 7″ touchscreen system, cooled glove box, roof-mounted rear air vents, cruise control, paddle shift, Smart Entry system and more.
Mechanically, the Toyota Yaris comes only with a petrol engine. It gets a 1.5 Litre petrol engine that produces 107 BHP power and 140 Nm torque. The figures are a bit lesser when compared with its rivals.
For transmission duties, the Yaris uses a 6-speed Manual gearbox and a 9-speed CVT-i gearbox. The mileage approximated on the Toyota Yaris is around 15-17 kmpl.

Another good thing about the sedan is that it looks very rich from inside. One look at the Yaris and we can say that it looks mature and comfortable. However, it might not appeal to the younger crowd because of the bulky looks and comparatively smaller wheels. Based on the touch and feel, we can say that the cabin elements are proper up-market.
