Datsun GO is one of the cheapest and most feature equipped hatchback in its segment. Now, with the upcoming facelift, it is going to get more feature equipped. Currently, the performance of GO is not great, but with the facelift, it will compete heavily against Renault Kwid, Hyundai Santro and Maruti Suzuki Wagon R. The bookings for the same are open now, for an amount of Rs 11,000. It gets best-in-class safety features along with a couple of segment-first features. Here are the 5 things to know about the upcoming Datsun GO Facelift.
The 2018 Datsun GO Facelift is launching on 10th October. We are heading out for the media drive on 9th and 10th October. Following which, the deliveries of the car will begin from 10th October itself.

Currently, the prices of GO start from Rs 3.38 Lakhs onwards and goes up to Rs 4.41 Lakhs. The facelift is expected to start from Rs 3.5 Lakhs onwards and may go up to Rs 4.70 Lakhs. The GO Plus could start off at Rs 4.20 Lakhs onwards (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). At this price, it will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, upcoming Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago, and Renault Kwid.
The 2018 Datsun GO Facelift will continue with the same 1.2 Litre 3-cylinder petrol engine. The engine produces around 68 BHP of power and 104 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Indonesian-spec GO gets a CVT gearbox, which is unlikely to come to the Indian one. However, it could get an AMT gearbox.

Over the current generation, there are tons of feature upgrades on the 2018 Datsun GO facelift. They are as follows:

On the exterior, the noticeable features include LED DRLs, rear washer and wiper and a new set of alloy wheels. It gets a revised bumper, a sharper air intake, revised headlamp style and revised front grille.
