Full grown SUV Isuzu MU-X facelift is going to be unveiled in India on 16th October. The launch is most likely to happen by the end of next month. The SUV goes against the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
Isuzu MU-X facelift is going to be unveiled on 16th October, as per the latest reports. The full-grown SUV competes with the likes of Fortuner and Endeavour. The facelift is already available in the global markets and is now going to make an entry in the Indian markets. The prices will be announced by the end of next month, following which the bookings and deliveries will begin. The facelift gets some cosmetic upgrades and minor feature additions inside the cabin.
On the exterior part, the Isuzu MU-X facelift gets a new set of alloy wheels, LED tail lamps and tweaked front and rear bumpers. Rest, it continues with the projector headlamps and LED DRLs.

Inside the cabin, there is a slightly redesigned dashboard with a new dual-tone black-beige colour scheme. Also, it will get some artificial wood inserts, silver inserts on the centre fascia and a new touchscreen infotainment system. Various reports suggest that with these upgrades, the Isuzu MU-X facelift will get new features too.
Other than these changes, there are no other changes on the facelift. It continues with the same 3.0 Litre Turbo Hi-Power diesel engine. The engine produces around 175 BHP of max. power and a peak torque of 380 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed automatic unit.
Now, like the D-Max V-Cross, the MU-X is also a known off-roader. Features for off-roading include Uphill and downhill control, 4X4 drive train, Terrain command control, shift-on-the-fly 4WD and Traction Control system.

Other safety features include Dual Front Airbags, Hill Start Assist, Electronic Stability Control, ABS with EBA and ISOFIX. Being an expensive SUV, it still offers dual-front airbags, which should be changed in the facelift.
Other features of the Isuzu MU-X include Auto Climate Control with separate cooling vents for every row, Passive Entry & Start System, Power-adjustable & power-foldable door mirrors with turn indicator lights, Cruise control system, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connection, Roof mounted 10 inch DVD entertainment monitor, Day/night interior rearview mirror and much more.

Currently, the Isuzu MU-X starts a price range of Rs 24.83 Lakhs and goes up to Rs 26.80 Lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi). It comes in two variants – 4X2 AT and 4X4 AT. The facelift is expected to demand some premium over the current price.
