The retractable aluminum hard-top offers a number of advantages by comparison to the traditional soft top which includes deployment time of just 14 seconds and a 25 kg weight reduction compared to F430 Spider.
Despite the new hard top housing ahead of the engine, the aerodynamics have not been compromised. In fact the car features an electric wind stop so designed, enabling normal interactions to be held even at speeds over 200 km/hr.
