The upcoming Mahindra XUV 700 SUV has been spotted testing almost undisguised. This large sized SUV is expected launch after Diwali 2018. It will be the costliest Mahindra car and will take on the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. Check out more details here.
Mahindra currently has three upcoming products in the next 1 year. It has the recently named MPV, Mahindra Marazzo, compact SUV Mahindra XUV300 and the fully grown SUV, Mahindra XUV700. Both have been spied testing a couple of times. While in this case, we have the latest spy photos of the upcoming Mahindra XUV 700 SUV. It has been spotted testing yet again without much camouflage. The whole body was undisguised, just the front grille had some covering. Now, this SUV might cost us starting from Rs 22 Lakhs up to Rs 25 Lakhs (ex-showroom). This will be the costliest SUV from Mahindra, bound to take on the mighty minds of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. The latest spy photos reveal that the SUV is almost ready and might launch soon. We expect the launch sometime after Diwali 2018.

The Mahindra XUV 700 SUV will come in Petrol and Diesel engine options. First, it will come with a 2.2 Litre Turbo Diesel engine and sometime later with a 2.0 Litre Petrol engine. The diesel engine churns out 185 BHP of power and 420 Nm of torque. The petrol engine produces 225 BHP of torque and 220 Nm of torque.
For transmission, it will get a 6-Speed Manual Gearbox along with a 7-speed Automatic one too. The mileage expected on the diesel one is around 12-15 KMPL.

Being the costliest Mahindra, so this one is going to be feature-loaded. For lighting, it gets LED headlamps with LED DRLs and LED Rear lights. In the interiors, it gets Electric seats, a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment along with 10.1-inch screens for rear passengers, ambient lighting, cruise control, steering mounted audio controls and more.
For safety, it gets ABS with EBD, 9 airbags, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Stability Control, Advanced Emergency Braking and Active Roll-Over protection. More premium features can be expected on this upcoming Mahindra XUV 700 SUV.

As we said, the expected price of this SUV is around Rs 22 Lakhs to Rs 25 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The lower rank models could compete with the Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson. Overall at this price rank, the specs, and feature make it compete with the Fortuner and Endeavour.
The Mahindra XUV 700 SUV at this expected price will be around Rs 4 Lakhs cheaper than the other two SUVs. Originally, this SUV is based on the Ssangyong G4 SUV, which Mahindra has rebadged.
