Volvo India has launched the Volvo XC40 Inscription and Momentum variants. Earlier, only the R-Design variant was launched in India. Due to a good start, Volvo has launched the other two variants too. Inscription variant is priced at Rs 43.9 lakhs and Momentum is priced at Rs 39.9 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
When the XC40 was launched, only 200 units were kept for sale at a special introductory price. Now, after two weeks, due to its increasing demand, Volvo India has launched the Inscription and Momentum variants. The Inscription is the range-topping variant and Momentum is the base variant. The Inscription is priced at Rs 43.9 Lakhs and the base Momentum is priced at Rs 39.9 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The deliveries of the other two variants will be starting later this year. Currently, the R-Design is priced at Rs 42.9 Lakhs, which was earlier 39.9 Lakhs (ex-showroom). While there are not many differences in the mid-spec and top-spec variant, the base one loses out on a lot of things. With the launch of Volvo XC40 Inscription and Momentum variants, the entire global range is complete and now available in India.
