Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe has hit the Indian roads with a whopping price tag of Rs 2.55 Crore. The hot Coupe now runs on a 4.0 Litre V8 engine that produces 612 BHP worth of power and a shocking 900 Nm worth of torque. It delivers a top-speed of 300 Km/hr and goes 0-100 KMPH in a mere 3.5 seconds.
The awaited Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe has been launched at a price of Rs 2.55 Crore. The Coupe receives a facelift with a new engine and some new features. The 5.5 Litre V8 engine is now replaced by a 4.0-litre V8 Biturbo engine with twin-scroll turbochargers. The engine now produces 26 BHP more than the previous engine. The new engine produces 612 BHP of horsepower and 900 Nm of torque, accelerating from standstill to 100 in mere 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 300 km/h, which is electronically limited. It gets a new AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission and cylinder deactivation system. On the exterior, the major change is noticed with the new Panamericana radiator grille. The update features list include a speed-sensitive steering wheel, AMG ride control with variable damper control suspension and dynamic drive programs. It gets a unique controllable performance exhaust system, suitable for different drive modes. The flaps open or close depending on the selected driving mode, but can also be controlled individually with a separate button in the drive unit on the centre console.

Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupe also gets some radar-based safety features, which ensure proper safety of the passenger as well as of the surroundings and takes the strain off the driver within the respective system limits. The Active Distance Assist helps in controlling the distance to vehicles in front up to a speed of 210 km/hr and if necessary brakes the vehicle with up to 50 per cent of the maximum braking power. Active Steering Assist helps the driver to keep the vehicle in the centre of its lane on straight stretches of road or slight bends, up to the speed of 210 Km/hr. It gets the obvious active braking assist which helps to avoid or lessen the consequences of accidents with vehicles in front and pedestrians. The Blind Spot Assist can warn the driver of vehicles in the blind spot during a lane change.
