Tata Tigor Buzz, a limited edition of Tata’s sub-4 metre compact sedan, has been launched. It is based on the XT trim of Tigor. Barring some design changes, the car receives no updates. It is placed just below the top trim. The petrol variant of the limited edition costs Rs 5.6 Lakhs and the diesel costs Rs 6.57 Lakhs.
Tata Tigor gets a limited edition ‘Buzz’ added to its lineup. The Tata Tigor Buzz gets some minor cosmetic changes with the same engine and feature list as the normal Tigor. It is based on the XT trim, which is placed just below the top-end, XZ trim. It gets updates like Glossy Black painted roof, Piano Black ORVMs, Dual Tone Wheel cover and more. Most of the updates are done on the exteriors, with 2 updates in the interiors. Tigor is a sub-4 metre compact sedan offering by Tata or is just an extended version of Tiago. It competes with Hyundai Xcent, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Ford Figo Aspire, Volkswagen Ameo and Honda Amaze. The Buzz edition comes in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol one is priced at Rs 5.68 Lakhs and the diesel variant is priced at Rs 6.57 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

The Buzz gets a ‘Berry Red’ colour, which is available only in this edition. It gets a contrasting black roof, berry red radiator grille highlights, piano black ORVMs and dual tone wheel covers with red accent. Also, there is a ‘Buzz’ sign on the boot lid. Inside the sedan, it gets Berry Red Air Vent Rings and Premium full fabric seats. It gets all the features of the norma Tigor’s XT trim. It is based on the XT trim but gets some exterior and interior changes.

There would be no mechanical updates to the Tata Tigor Buzz. It will continue with the 1.2 L Revotron petrol and 1.05 L Revotorq diesel. The three-cylinder petrol engine develops 83 BHP at 6,000 RPM and 114 Nm of torque at 3,500 RPM. The turbocharged three-cylinder diesel engine produces 68 BHP at 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 1,800-3,000 RPM. The Tata Tigor is available with 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual transmissions, but the Tigor Buzz won’t come with the latter.

The petrol variant of the Buzz costs Rs 5.68 Lakhs and the diesel one costs Rs 6.57 lakhs (ex-showroom). Currently, the sedan is also expected to get an electric variant by 2020. The Tata Tigor EV has been spotted many times during its test rides.
