The images of the 2018 Hyundai Santro interior have now surfaced on the internet. These images show that Hyundai’s upcoming small car will get steering mounted audio controls, electrically operated door mirrors and a dual-tone cabin colour scheme.
Hyundai India is all set to launch an all-new small hatchback in India. It is expected that the Korean automaker will debut this vehicle in our country by the festive season this year. So far the automaker is yet to decide a name for this car. However, we believe that this new compact hatchback will bring back the Santro moniker to India. This vehicle is already in its testing phase. And so far several spy shots of this car have surfaced on the internet.
Now thanks for folks at Motorbeam, for the first time, the 2018 Hyundai Santro interior has been snapped. The images reveal quite a lot of details regarding the cabin of this all-new vehicle from Hyundai. It clears our speculations that the new Santro will share quite a lot of its components with the Grand i10. The hatchback comes with a dual-tone cabin of black and beige. The upholstery is going to be black in colour with contrasting stitching on offer.

In addition to this, what we can see in these images is that the 2018 Hyundai Santro interior gets a multifunctional steering wheel. In addition to this, it also comes with electric door mirrors. Furthermore, the images reveal that the new Santro is going to get a dashboard-mounted gear-knob. a Similar set-up to what we see on the Grand i10.
In terms of the car’s exterior design, expect it to come with all-new aesthetics. Some of the cues will take inspiration from the Grand i10. Up-front, the 2018 Santro will get wraparound head-lamps, high-mounted fog-lamps and a large hexagonal grille. The rear is going to come with small but wrap-around tail-lamps, a stout tail-gate and a simple and elegant bumper design.

Talking about the features, expect this car to have a decent equipment list. Top-spec variants could get automatic climate control, alloy wheels, a touchscreen infotainment system and reverse parking sensors. In addition to this, the car will get ABS with EBD and dual-airbags along with ISOFIX child seat mounts as standard across the range.
In terms of the car’s engine specifications, we are expecting to see the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder motor from the Eon. It will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Prices will fall in the range of INR 3.5 lakh to 6 lakh. Furthermore, expect this car to debut in India sometime during the festive season, likely around the time of Diwali this year.
