The 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift comes with minor cosmetic changes. Furthermore, with this update, it is going to get several new features as well. Hyundai could drop the 1.4-litre diesel engine from the line-up.
Hyundai India is going to launch the Creta Facelift in India soon. Curtsey Team-BHP, completely undisguised images of the updated Creta has surfaced on the internet. These images were taken during a Tv commercial shoot of the vehicle. Consequently, we expect the launch to occur during this month of the next. The 2018 Creta comes with minor design updates. Also, it will have slight revisions done to its interiors as well. According to recent media reports, it is likely that Hyundai will drop the existing 1.4-litre diesel engine from the compact SUV’s line-up with this update.
The Hyundai Creta Facelift gets a redesigned bumper. It now comes with augmented housing for the fog-lamps. Which help the front of the car look more premium than before. In addition to this, the front grille is also new. It bears a new design. The side profile of the new Creta will remain the same as before. However, it will get new alloy wheels. At the back, the changes are in line with what we see at the front. The boot-lid and the tail-lamps are similar to the current spec version. However, the bumper’s design is slightly revised.

Inside the cabin, the 2018 Hyundai Creta is going to get the same layout as before. Expect the colour scheme to change slightly. Furthermore, as we saw on the i20 facelift, the updated version of the Creta is also going to get new knobs and buttons. In addition to all this, the biggest change inside the cabin is going to be the new touchscreen infotainment system. This unit will offer connectivity through Apple Car Play and Android Auto along with Mirror Linking. Furthermore, it will double up as the display for the rear parking camera.

The engine specifications of the 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift are likely to remain the same as before. However, we expect Hyundai to drop the existing 1.4-litre diesel engine from its line-up. Hence, it will come with a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre diesel engine only. Both manual and automatic transmission options will be available on both the variants as before.

Prices of the Creta Facelift are likely to go up marginally. This is because of the addition of some of the features. The Creta is going to get dual-airbags and ABS with EBD as standard across the range.
