Toyota Yaris is going to be launched in May 2018. The sedan will come in seven variants in seven different colours. The car will compete with the likes of Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Hyundai Verna.
Toyota Yaris will be launched with seven different configurations. They include J, G, V and VX grades. All grades employ a 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i four-cylinder petrol engine. A 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission sends power to the wheels. Buyers have the CVT option in all grades, but the MT option in only the J, G, and V.
Exterior colour choices include Super White, White Pearl Crystal Shine (G, V, and VX grades only), Silver Metallic, Grey Metallic, Wildfire Red and Phantom Brown. The bookings are officially going to start on 22nd April as the dealers will be collecting Rs 50,000 as booking amounts. The feature list of Yaris was leaked on the Team-BHP forum. Toyota Yaris will be manufactured at Toyota’s plant in Karnataka and will be launched in May 2018. Yaris is expected to be priced starting from Rs 9 Lakh to Rs 13 Lakh (ex-showroom).
