Bajaj Auto has silently introduced a discount on the price of the CT100 series. The refreshed prices now start from INR 30,174. The Bajaj CT100 commuter range does not feature any new visual or mechanical changes.
Bajaj Auto has set their entire focus on the motorcycle segment in India and abroad. The automaker started its ordeal in India with scooters but under current leadership, does not want to go back to manufacturing them. Bajaj Auto sells the entire range of bikes starting from the commuter class all the way to the sport and cruiser segment. The market penetration is second only to the market leader Hero Motocorp. Bajaj’s alliances overtime has also rejoiced its customers as it brings new and more powerful products to the Indian market. The bread and butter of Bajaj, the commuter segment is ruled by the CT100. The Tier II and Tier III market are the main targets for this segment. With revised prices, the Bajaj CT100 is now more lucrative to buyers.
Bajaj CT100 – Price Revised
The entry-level Bajaj CT100 commuter motorcycle segment is available to order in three variants. The base variant which was priced at INR 32,653 is now discounted to INR 30,714. A difference of INR 1939. The middle variant Bajaj CT100 KS Alloy was priced at INR 38,637 which has been discounted to INR 31,802, a considerable difference of INR 6,835. The top-end variant saw a difference in price of INR 2,112 and is now priced at INR 39,885. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.

Bajaj CT100 – Specifications
The discounted prices announced by Bajaj for its CT100 range is the only change. The Bajaj CT100 gets no new visual or mechanical changes. Powering the commuter is a 99.27cc air-cooled engine tuned to produce 8 bhp of power and 8.05 Nm torque. The ES Alloy variant of the Bajaj CT100 is powered by a revised version of the same engine offering 102cc of cubic capacity. This engine makes 7.5 bhp of max power and 8.24 Nm torque. Both the variants are offered with a 4-speed gearbox.
Bajaj CT100 – Cycle Parts
The Bajaj CT100 comes loaded with telescopic suspension with 125mm of travel at the front and SNS twin shock absorbers at the rear. Stopping power comes from drum brakes at each end. Bajaj officially claims the CT100 can achieve a top speed of 90 km/h.

Bajaj CT100 – Competition
As mentioned above, the CT100 is targeted at semi-urban and rural areas. The buyer in such locations are very price sensitive and demand reliability and efficiency as their major selling points. The CT100 competes with the likes of TVS Sport, Hero HF Dawn and Deluxe, Hero Splendor iSmart and TVS XL 100.
