The 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes with the same engine specifications as before. The bike now comes with a dual disc brake variant. Furthermore, with this update, the Pulsar 150 comes with certain visual modifications as well in order to make it look sportier.
Bajaj has today officially launched the 2018 iteration of the Pulsar 150 in India. The bikes come with a number of cosmetic changes over the previous iteration of this vehicle. The design updates take their inspiration from Pulsar 180. The most prominent and important addition to the bike is the introduction a new dual disc brake variant. Not only this, but the 2018 Pulsar 150 comes with three new colour options as well. The 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 is going to retail in India at a price of INR 78,016. These prices are ex-showroom Mumbai. The prices of the updated model are slightly higher in comparison to the existing model. The current spec model costs INR 74,074.

The 2018 Pulsar 150 comes with a number of updates, both in terms of its design as well as features. The design is slightly more muscular than before. Consequently giving the bike and aggressive stance. One does not have to look too close to identify that the Pulsar 150 takes its design inspiration from the Pulsar 180.

Going by the spy images, we can clearly see that the 150 gets fatter forks up-front. These are the same one which we see on the Pulsar 180. Interestingly, the bike now comes with disk brakes, both at the front as well as the rear. However, it does not get ABS. The front gets 260 mm disk brakes while the rear comes with 230 mm. In addition to this, the 2018 Pulsar 150 comes with split seat along with a split grab rail. The current spec model comes with a single bench layout.

Also, the footpeg in the Pulsar 150 is now aluminium finished in comparison to the current chrome one. Furthermore, the pedals too look considerable premium than before. Finally, adding to the style factor are new 17-inch alloy wheels which come with a matte-black finish. In addition to this, the 2018 iteration of the bike comes with a longer wheelbase along with wider and bigger rear tyres. Bajaj says that they have worked extensively to improve the pulsar 150’s NVH levels.

The engine specifications of the 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 remain the same as before. The current spec model comes with a 149 cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor is capable of producing 13.8 BHP along with 13.4 Nm of peak torque. The bikes come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. Expect the power figures to increase slightly. Furthermore, the bike comes with the combined braking system, in line with the government regulations which become effective starting April1.
With these prices, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 will continue to compete with the likes of Honda Unicorn, Suzuki Gixxer, and Hero Xtreme.
