TVS Jupiter – Spy Shots
Our friends at CarToq shared the exclusive images of the upcoming updated for 2018 TVS Jupiter. The spy shots reveal the latest changes and tech on the upcoming shooter. The spotted scooter gets new SBS (Sync Braking System) and FI (Fuel-Injection) labels on the front fender and front apron. The SBS system is like the CBS (Combi-Brake System) that Honda employs allowing the rider to operate both brakes with one lever. The Fuel-Injection will allow cleaner and more efficient fuel delivery that will increase the power marginally and improve the fuel efficiency as well.

TVS Jupiter – Launch Price
The upcoming 2018 TVS Jupiter facelift has been overdue. The recently spied TVS Jupiter gets new technology onboard amongst other updates. The new Jupiter is expected to launch in April itself. The current scooter retails in the range of INR 50,000 and INR 56,000. Expect the new model to feature marginally updated price.

TVS Jupiter – Specifications
The outgoing model of TVS Jupiter employs a 110 cc engine with carburettor delivers 8 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to an automatic gearbox. The upcoming updated TVS Jupiter features FI which translates to a marginal increase in both power and efficiency figures. The gearbox will not receive any updates and will remain the same. The new Jupiter in the spy shot features a sealed ignition fob. We expect the top variant of the upcoming scooter to feature keyless ignition. This will prove to be a segment first feature and will add to the practicality of the two-wheeler. New colours and accessories are also expected to be offered to make it more ‘millennial-friendly’. This move will also allow its customers to customize their individual units to make them stand apart.
