The new X Blade comes with a 162.71 cc engine. The single cylinder motor is equipped with Honda’s HET technology. The motor produces 13.93 BHP along with 13.9 Nm of peak torque.
Honda says that it has designed this engine so that it offers a good low and mid-range performance. Not only this, but it will also offer faster acceleration along with better load carrying capability. The X Blade comes with a link type gear shifter.

Honda X Blade 160 – Design
XBlade features muscular tank with sharp lines otherwise marking the sporty character of the bike.
The side panels are offered with black paint. The motorcycle comes loaded with a dual-outlet exhaust that holds both visual as well as technical advantages.
The most prominent feature of the X-Blade is the full LED headlight with LED position lamps. The Robo-Face full LED headlamp is a segment first offering good visibility to its rider.
Also on offer is a fully digital instrument cluster with service reminder and gear indicator. In the front, it gets disc brakes with black alloy wheels. It also gets a skid plate. The razor-edged LED tail lamp gives it a sporty and stylish look. The rear tire also gets a hugger fender.

Honda X Blade 160 – Competition
The Honda X Blade 160 competes against the likes of Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, TVS Apache RTR 160 and Suzuki Gixxer. All of them are nearly priced around Rs 80,000 – Rs 90,000.
The Pulsar NS160 runs on the brand name and delivers the highest mileage figure among all. It looks bulky and muscular too. In terms of comfort, it might be better than the Honda bike. However, X Blade gives some more features than the Pulsar.
On the other hand, RTR 1604V is a tough competition. It gives some more features and has better styling too. However, Apache top-variant goes up to Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom). Still, Apache has its own followers who would not be bothered much about this thing.
Suzuki Gixxer is a 150 CC bike offers ABS and is priced moderately. It starts at around Rs 77000 and the ABS variant is for Rs 87000 (ex-showroom). In terms of features, it offers nearly the same features as compared to X Blade.
However, the Hornet CB160R is also a competitor to these bikes because of the same specs and pricing.
