Royal Enfield will launch a special edition of the Himalayan tomorrow. Dubbed as the Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet, the upcoming motorcycle has a snow camouflage and has already been spied by one of our eagle-eyed readers. The Sleet special edition motorcycle will launch today. Prices are likely to see a slight increment.
The latest teaser video shows two units of the special edition of the Himalayan traversing through mountain roads. With the launch of the new colour variant, the motorcycle will offer three paint options. There are no changes in the specifications of the motorcycle.

The special model of the Himalayan will first launch today. We are pretty sure that the new motorcycle would command a price premium of at least Rs 5,000 over the standard version. This will take the ex-showroom price to Rs 1.70 lakh.

Other than the introduction of a new colour scheme, there will be absolutely no change in the motorcycle. Hence, both the specifications and the mileage will remain the same. The RE Himalayan comes with a 410cc single-cylinder engine that outputs a max. power of 24.5 BHP and a peak torque of 32 Nm. This all-new motor has been developed entirely in-house by Royal Enfield and is said to be equipped with a counter-balancer shaft to keep NVH levels in check. Being an adventure motorcycle, the Himalayan gets long-travel telescopic forks at front and a monoshock suspension at the rear, which is yet another first for a Royal Enfield. The 410cc adventure tourer rides on 21-inch wheels and gets disc brakes at both ends.
