2018 Suzuki XBee Gets a Mild-hybrid System Pushing the Economy to 22 KMPL
The Japanese auto giant Suzuki showcased the 2018 Suzuki Xbee concept at Tokyo Motor Show last year. Highlighting the practicality and user-friendliness of the hatchback, the Xbee is for Japan what Ignis is for us. The boxy design must set some people off but the space and practicality of the hatchback are unmatchable.
2018 Suzuki Xbee Launch Price
The Suzuki Xbee has been launched in Japan recently. Reports suggest that this a JDM only model which translates to the Xbee sticking to its domestic market only. The 2018 Xbee is available in two grades i.e. MX and MZ with the range starting at 17,65,800 Yen (INR 10,04,881). The price might seem a little steep for a jacked-up WagonR but the quality of materials used, the customisability and the electronics, as well as the safety features available on board, justify the price completely. Suzuki aims to sell 2000 units of the Xbee each month.
2018 Suzuki Xbee Exterior Design
The blend of the practicality of a wagon and go anywhere capabilities of an SUV have never been combined before and Xbee sets a right example of one. The hatchback offers spacious cabin with practical storage space and cubby holes yet carry the styling and go-anywhere capabilities of an SUV. The plastic cladding all-round as well as the front and rear bumper skid plates signify the “cross” type styling. The headlight, as well as the taillight implement LEDs and the fog lamps, are neatly tucked into the bumper protector. The Xbee’s length, width and height expand to 3,670 mm, 1,670 mm and 1,705 respectively. The hatchback holds a wheelbase of 2,435mm and sits 180mm above the ground.
