Mahindra and Mahindra, the popular Indian UV maker, is about to launch a facelift of the current generation Scorpio. The new Mahindra Scorpio facelift launch will officially take place today. The latest facelift of the company’s popular SUV carries minor styling tweaks for the exterior and interior. More importantly, the specifications see a lot of improvement due to the introduction of a more powerful engine. Also, there will be a new S7 trim along with new features like Android Auto making it to this SUV.

New Mahindra Scorpio Specifications
Specifications will see a major update in the form of the 2.2-litre Diesel engine from the XUV500. This means the maximum power and torque will be rated at 140 BHP and 330 Nm respectively. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Currently, the SUV offers a 5-speed manual transmission. Mileage figures might see a slight dip owing to additional power. Expect a claimed average mileage of around 17 kmpl. Unlike what was rumoured, the facelift will offer the Micro Hybrid start/stop system for enhanced mileage.
