The facelift will come with an updated motor. Running on the state-of-tune that it’s available with on the XUV500, this engine will offer a maximum power of 140 BHP along with a peak torque of 330 Nm. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Mileage figures might see a slight dip owing to additional power. Expect a claimed average mileage of around 17 kmpl. Unlike it was speculated, latest images and the video show that even the facelift carries ‘Micro Hybrid’ badges. This means that the engine start/stop fuel-saving technology won’t be given a miss in order to benefit from lower GST rate.
