Nissan Sunny Exteriors Vs Hyundai Verna Fluidic Exteriors
The car’s appeal on the road is an important factor for any aspiring buyer in India and the Verna stands right up to everybody’s expectations. The beautifully carved body with dynamic body lines have a unique attraction and draws your attention immediately. You can view this car from any possible angle and still it will won’t disappoint you at all. The fenders, hood, boot, sides everything is so expressive and no doubt it is the most beautiful car in its segment.
The Sunny is new and has a simple yet attractive design. A chrome border around the grille and large headlamps are two of the highlighting features of this car. The car resembles Nissan Teana from the back and sides which means that it looks larger than any existing sedan in the C segment but in looks it is still way behind the Verna.

Hyundai has always been known for quality and on the inside it again surprises you. It has a really sporty dashboard with a nice instrument cluster and an inspiring central console. The seats are extremely comfortable and the amount of space is also quite impressive. Some of the highlighting features include Climate Control, audio system with iPod, USB, AUX-in connectivity, optional automatic transmission, dual airbags on the front and on side curtains, steering mounted controls, ABS with EBD, smart key with push button start, premium leather seats, electrically foldable outside mirrors and a lot more.
Sunny is a good car with some good features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, auto AC, rear comfort fan, driver power window with auto down and anti pinch function, intelligent key with push button ignition, audio system with AUX-in support etc. Sunny is also comfortable but if you compare the two in terms of features and space the Verna impresses us again.

Whichever Verna engine you consider, it is better than Sunny’s engine in every respect. Whether its max power, max torque or mileage, Verna’s 1.4 Litre and 1.6 Litre units are better. Less fuel consumption is another plus point for Verna as its 1.4 L and 1.6 L units deliver 17.43 and 17.01 KMPL respectively.
Nissan Sunny Petrol Performance & Handling Vs Hyundai Verna Fluidic Petrol Performance & Handling
Nissan has done a great job and the Sunny is better in City and on highway as well. It turns with confidence around sharp bends. The suspension is fairly good and absorbs most of the shocks coming from the road.
The Verna is better in terms of power and is better to drive in the city but at high speeds on the highway it does feel less confident. Also around sharp corners the car isn’t as impressive as it should be and that extra power and torque go waste.

Safety features like airbags and ABS EBD, disk brakes are lacking in the base Verna priced but the base Sunny does come with some of the safety features.
The 1.6 Litre Verna is not disappointing at all and besides a powerful engine it also offers features like the ABS and EBD, rear disc brakes, central locking system etc. But all these features can be seen in the XL and XV Sunny variants also. So in terms of pricing the Sunny is definitely more attractive but at the same time it lacks some class leading features and a powerful engine.
Car Blog India Verdict-Nissan Sunny Petrol Vs Hyundai Verna Fluidic Petrol
There is a major difference between the pricing of the two. The Sunny is an affordable, value for money, satisfactory on features, fair looking car. It does come with many good features as standard. The Verna is radically designed car which turns your head immediately and is good in terms of power and torque also.
To be honest Verna has not got enough good review to consider it as a good car in terms of driving pleasure and maintenance problems. But Hyundai has a better after sales service network. So if you really want to buy a fairly good car with amazing fit and finish on the outside as well as inside and can compromise on features and looks go with the Sunny.
But if you are looking for a better looking car with better power, better looks and don’t indulge in spirited or high speed driving, you can get a Verna which is priced higher than the Sunny.
