Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) is having a good run in India, courtesy of its Gixxer range of motorcycles. Both the Gixxer and the Gixxer SF have been quite successful in the country. However, the company has been absent from the fast-growing cruiser motorcycle segment till now. Not very long ago, Bajaj came up with a 150cc engine variant of its Avenger cruiser bike. And now, it looks like even SMIPL is gearing up to launch a similar low-displacement cruiser bike to rival the Avenger. The upcoming Suzuki 150cc Cruiser bike is known as the GZ150 in many markets. Here are all the available details on the Suzuki GZ150 cruiser motorcycle that could soon launch to India.
The company is yet to divulge any details regarding the launch date and the price of its upcoming 150cc cruiser bike. However, there are good chances that this motorcycle would launch in coming months and would have an ex-showroom price of roughly 80,000. The Avenger 150 has already received a largely favorable response from buyers in the 150cc segment. It seems that even Suzuki Motor India Pvt Ltd is readying itself to grab a chunk of the sales pie.

Model | Expected Price |
GZ150 cc | Rs 80,000 |
We expect the upcoming 150cc cruiser motorcycle from Suzuki to cost roughly Rs 80,000. This will make the motorcycle marginally costlier than the Avenger 150. However, there are enough chances it will be cheaper than the Gixxer. This will enable it to sell the bike alongside the Gixxer without either bike eating into another’s market share

Suzuki GZ150 Cruiser Motorcycle Design
So far, we haven’t seen even a single test mule of this motorcycle. However, there are good chances that the India-spec GZ150 would look almost exactly like the international-spec model. The upcoming 150cc model has a modern touch in its design while maintaining a cruiser bike form. The rear tyre will be pretty wide to give that mean look, while there will be bits like LED taillamps to give the bike a premium feel. Typical to cruiser motorcycles, this bike will offer high-raised handlebar, low seat height and a relaxed riding posture.
The GZ150 is Suzuki’s first low-displacement cruiser bike for India. Hence, a lot will ride on this bike’s success in the country. We will update you with more concrete information on the launch date and price of the Suzuki GZ150 cruiser motorcycle as soon as we get an official word from the company.
