Nissan India updated the Terrano small SUV earlier this year. The latest update brought in a handful of minor updates for the Renault Duster-based SUV. Nissan claims the facelift comes with as many as 22 new features. However, no matter what the company claims, the Terrano hasn’t been doing too well on the sales charts. Last month, the manufacturer could sell only 257 units of this SUV. In comparison, Renault India sold 1,210 units of the Duster and Hyundai India sold 10.556 units of the Creta! Nissan India, however, hasn’t yet given up on the Terrano. In the latest move, the manufacturer has come up with a handful of Nissan Terrano offers. These offers lead to a benefit of Rs 71,000. The Nissan Terrano 2017 facelift gets a Petrol and two Diesel engine options. The Petrol unit is a fairly potent 104 PS 1.6 L engine that comes mated to a 5-speed Manual Transmission. For the Diesel Terrano, Nissan uses the popular Renault K9K 1.5 L Diesel engine that’s available in two power outputs – 85 PS and 110 PS. While the less powerful model gets a 5-speed Manual Transmission, the 110 PS model comes with a 6-speed Manual and a 6-Speed Easy-R AMT.
