Tata Tiago

The Tiago makes it to this list as it is the least costly car on this list of best diesel cars under 10 lakhs. However, not only is its price low but it looks quite good too. Its design is ageing quite well.  As far as its features are concerned, it has an 8-speaker audio system onboard along with an infotainment system from Harman Kardon. Using the Juke app, all occupants in the car can play their own music without having to pair their phones with the system individually. However, it is not the only car on this list to sport Tata‘s new Impact design language. Still, its nice mix of price, features and specifications help it find its way to this list.

Maruti Baleno

A premium hatchback from Maruti Suzuki, the Baleno retails from the company’s premium Nexa dealership network. This car offers some great features such as a touchscreen infotainment unit which has Apple CarPlay support (Android Auto can be had too, via an update from a service centre). This car weighs less than a tonne, enabling it to deliver great mileage. Plus, it is the first premium hatchback to sport projector headlamps with LED DRLs. Ford Figo

The Figo is to Ford what the Swift is to Maruti Suzuki. Maruti Ignis
