Maruti Suzuki is soon going to introduce a midlife update for its premium hatchback Baleno in India. The updated version of this hatchback is going to come with minor cosmetic updates along with a few additions to its feature list. Maruti Suzuki, at the 2018 Auto Expo showcased the Y1K concept SUV. There is was said by the automaker that it is, in 2019, going to launch an all-new Micro-SUV in India.
This new vehicle will take its inspiration from Y1K concept. It will as a perfect family car with SUV like proportions and offering the practicality and fuel-efficiency of a small family hatchback. With a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder engine, expect it to come with manual as well as AMT variants.

The next-generation Maruti Wagon R is likely to make its debut in India during the first half of 2019. Recent developments suggest that its production will commence by the end of this year. The new Wagon R comes with an all-new exterior as well as interior design.
It is likely to come with several new features and will also score significantly high in terms of its safety capabilities in comparison to the current spec version. The new Wagon R is going to launch in India with two engine options. These will include the existing 1.0-litre motor along with the Swift’s 1.2-litre unit.
Gearbox options will continue to include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Prices are expected to fall in the range of INR 3.5 lakh to INR 6.5 lakh.

Earlier this year, there were speculations that Maruti Suzuki will launch a 7-seater iteration of the Wagon R MPV in the Indian market.
However, on the sidelines of the launch of the new Ciaz, senior Maruti officials confirmed to the media there are no plans, as of now, to launch the Maruti Wagon R 7-seater in India.
The company believes that currently there is not a huge demand for compact 7-seater in India. And that it will launch the Wagon R MPV in India only if it sees a demand in this particular segment. Nevertheless, if an when it launches, it is going to get the same 1.0-litre petrol engine as the Wagon R hatchback. Prices will fall in the range of INR 4.5 lakh to INR 6.5 lakh.

One of the most anticipated launches from Maruti Suzuki has to be the debut of the petrol derivative of the Vitara Brezza compact SUV.
Recent developments suggest that Maruti will launch the Vitara Brezza petrol in India during the second half of 2019. This is likely to be done alongside the debut of the mid-life facelift for this sub-compact SUV. We still do not have any concrete information regarding the engine specifications.
