The 2018 Auto Expo will happen only in February, next year, but speculations on new launches and new car debuts have already started pouring in. Mahindra Cars at Auto Expo 2018

Mahindra XUV Aero

Expected to launch in mid-2018, the XUV Aero was the star attraction at last year’s Auto Expo. This time around, however, we expect to see the production-ready version of this vehicle. The Mahindra XUV Aero will be one of the most important Mahindra cars at Auto Expo 2018. It will come with a 2.2 L mHawk Diesel that will be mated to 6-speed Manual & 6-speed Automatic transmissions. The new model will offer Race, Off-road, Street & Sport driving modes. Thanks to its really eye-catching design and the high brand value of XUV moniker, the XUV Aero is sure the most awaited of all upcoming launches from Mahindra.

Mahindra KUV100 Facelift

While it was earlier expected to launch by October this year, latest rumours state that the KUV100 facelift will come out only at the next Delhi Auto Expo. The KUV100 has been losing out the Ignis, but the facelift could turn the tide in KUV’s favour. Prices will remain much the same but the KUV100 could get an AMT for both Petrol and Diesel models. It will also offer improved refinement and lower NVH. Lastly, Mahindra could tweak the styling a fair bit to make the odd-ball design more acceptable.

Mahindra XUV 700 (New SsangYong Rexton)

Next on our list of Mahindra Cars at Auto Expo 2018 is the replacement for the Ssangyong Rexton. SsangYong unveiled the all-new Rexton earlier this year. The new model will come to India but is likely to launch as the new Mahindra XUV 700. The XUV 700 launch will take place only by April next year but an Auto Expo debut is very likely. The XUV 700 will help Mahindra take the fight straight to the likes of Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner. One really promising new launch at the Expo, this one!

Mahindra XUV 300

Mahindra will showcase the production-spec avatar of its upcoming small SUV. The upcoming Mahindra mall SUV will be based on the SsangYong Tivoli and is currently known as the S201, internally at Mahindra. The upcoming Mahindra SUV will rival the Hyundai Creta and other such models. Powering the SUV will be a set of all new engines. These are the same motors that Mahindra has developed in association with it sister concern, SsangYong. While the design will come from the Tivoli, expect the Mahindra version to get some signature Mahindra touches. This will be definitely among the more important Mahindra cars at Auto Expo 2018.

Mahindra TUV500

The TUV500 is another upcoming Mahindra car that was expected to launch by Diwali but might come out only at the Auto Expo 2018. The TUV500 is nothing but a larger TUV300 with three front-facing rows of seats. It will get more features and even more powerful engines. The TUV500, thanks to more seats and space, should cater to the fleet market. Definitely a strategically important launch for Mahindra, this one. Watch out for the TUV500 in the Mahindra pavilion at Auto Expo 2018.

Mahindra U321 MPV

Another new Mahindra model at the Delhi Motor Show in 2018 will be an all-new MPV from Mahindra. The upcoming new car launch by Mahindra at Auto Expo 2018 will go on to rival the rather formidable Toyota Innova Crysta. Currently known as the U321 MPV, the manufacturer has been testing this upcoming model under heavy camouflage for a while now. The upcoming Toyota Innova rival from Mahindra will be another important launch by Mahindra at Auto Expo 2018.

New Mahindra Bolero (U302)

Details on the new-generation Bolero (codename- U302) are really scarce at the moment. However, the Bolero could be one of the many new Mahindra cars at Auto Expo 2018. Speculations are rife that the new Bolero will have a 7-seat configuration and a really muscular design. However, it will retain the rugged appeal of the current model. Apart from this, the new Bolero will also get the 1.5-litre mHawk100 Diesel engine that outputs 100 BHP and 240 Nm. In all probability, the all-new Bolero will be worthy successor the current model. Not just this, it could even be modern enough to end up rivaling some premium compact SUVs on sale in India.

Mahindra Cars at Auto Expo 2018 –

As you can see, we are expecting as many as 7 new Mahindra cars at Auto Expo 2018. Hence, it won’t be too wrong to say that the upcoming edition of Delhi motor show would be a really important one for Mahindra. From the looks of it, Mahindra is preparing a big onslaught of new cars that look very promising. Future seems only bright for the Indian UV major.
