Mercedes Benz India, the Indian subsidiary of the popular German luxury car marque, has launched the new 2017 Mercedes GLA facelift in India. The new model has gone on sale at a starting price of ₹ 30.65 lakh. The 2017 GLA facelift made its public debut at the Detroit motor show in January 2017, which means the updated model has been rather quick to make it to our shores. Basically, the GLA facelift, akin to its pre-facelift version, is available with 2.0-litre Petrol and a 2.1-litre Diesel engines. The gasoline-burning motor is available a naturally-aspirated format. The Diesel motor gets two states of tune. Save for the 220d
model, which gets an All-wheel Drive (AWD), all other models of the 2017 Mercedes GLA facelift come in Front-wheel Drive (FWD) format.

We’ve always loved the GLA for its modern, clutter-free design that exudes a blend of athleticism and premium-ness. The new 2017 Mercedes GLA facelift is all that and even more! The new GLA 2017 gets even more stylish bumpers, an updated grille and more attractive alloys. The bi-xenon setup on the pre-facelift model has been trashed in favor of a LED setup. This further enhances the upmarket quotient of the GLA. The DRLs looks sleeker and even the LED taillights are new. The new model rides 30 mm higher than the outgoing version, which gives it a really daunting stance.
On the inside, the cabin continues to come with many avant-garde design touches and a long list of comfort and convenience features. There’s a really upmarket eight-inch infotainment unit that takes centre-stage on the dashboard. The instrument binnacle gets a new set of dials. Also, there’s now a chrome garnish on many knobs and buttons. The upholstery is new and is available in four trim options. Another highlight of the features list is the foot-gesture-controlled tailgate.
