Fiat India has been in a rut off late. A weak dealership network, an ageing model lineup and a deteriorating brand image have led to the Italian car maker holding a market share of just 0.17%. For now, FCA seems to be directing all its efforts towards the Jeep brand. By next year, however, Fiat could set its plans of regaining the lost market share in motion. Rumours suggest Fiat will launch the upcoming X6H (codename) hatchback in India to replace the Punto Evo. The hatchback is due for launch in Brazil this May. 2017 Fiat X6H India Design
The upcoming Fiat X6H hatchback will borrow styling cues from the Fiat Tipo hatchback. Although the car has been spotted testing on multiple occasions, it has always had a very heavy camouflage on revealing nothing but the silhouette. The Fiat X6H could look like a smaller version of the Tipo hatchback.
Much like the exteriors, the interiors of the X6H could borrow heavily from the Tipo. Top end variants are likely to boast a long list of features including auto aircon, touchscreen infotainment, etc. A recent spy shot unveiled the steering wheel and instrument console of the X6H. Interestingly, the image also shows paddle shifters positioned right behind the steering wheel.
