JLR India has just stepped into the lucrative luxury SUV space in India with the launch of the F-Pace. Jaguar had announced the prices of the upcoming F-Pace SUV in India in early October. The Jaguar F Pace India price falls in the Rs. 68.40 lakh to Rs. 1.12 crore range ex-showroom Delhi. Official India launch of the SUV took place on October 20, 2016 in Mumbai. Although Jaguar had already made the prices of the F-Pace public in the first week of October 2016, the official launch took place on October 20. This was Jaguar’s second launch in India in less than a month. They launched the new 2016 Jaguar XF on 21st September.

The F Pace is available with two engine options spread across four trims. While the 2.0 L Diesel variants cost Rs. 68.40 lakh to Rs. 74.50 lakh, the 3.0 L Diesel variants cost more than a Crore. At this price point, the Jaguar F-Pace 2.0 will directly rival sister company Land Rover’s Range Rover Evoque.

Buyers get to choose from two diesel engine options. The smaller of the two is a 2.0 L Diesel belonging to the new Ingenium family of engines. It puts out a maximum power of 177 bhp and a peak torque of 430 Nm. The other option is 3.0 L Turbocharged V6 diesel that makes 296 bhp and a massive 700 Nm of peak torque. The engine uses innovative twin parallel sequential turbocharging. This engine delivers an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in just 6.2 s. Both engines come with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
