Toyota India has finally launched the 2016 Etios Liva. The new Toyota Etios Liva 2016 looks similar to the Brazil spec Liva Platinum. Toyota‘s B segment model is far from a hot seller. Toyota hasn’t made any major changes to the engine lineup. Both the Diesel and Petrol engines have same performance figures as earlier. However, all the models get ABS as standard. Even the front dual airbags are standard. Also, the side body structure has been changed to offer higher impact absorption. The rear bench now sits on a stronger tubular structure.
While the new Etios Liva Diesel gets a 1.4 litre engine, its petrol model gets a 1.2 litre engine. All models of the 2016 Etios Liva come with only a 5 speed manual transmission.

New Toyota Platinum Etios 2016 Facelift Interior
Images of the new Platinum Etios show a black and beige colour theme. The 2016 Etios Liva facelift comes with new features like a digital-analogue instrument console. The new facelift also comes with a sportier steering wheel. The Etios now also gets height adjustable rear seat headrests. Apart from this, there isn’t much else.
New Toyota Etios 2016 Engine and Transmission
The Etios Liva features a 79 BHP, 1.2 litre petrol and a 67 BHP, 1.4 litre Diesel engine. All engines come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The new model’s clutch system and front shock absorbers have been improved. Also, the rubber engine mounts have been replaced by hydraulic mounts for reducing vibrations. The 2016 Etios Liva targets private car buyers. The Etios Liva is popular among cab operators. However, it hasn’t yet attracted the private lot. The new Etios Liva facelift could change this. It looks stylish and has more features. The engines too are more refined. It has got attractive pricing too.
