A list of upcoming Honda Bikes at Auto Expo 2016
The Auto Expo 2016 is at our doorsteps and as regular here would already know, we have been busy prepping ourselves for a date with some really exciting machines that will be put on display at the much-anticipated car and bike show. Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India, which was seen launching a wide range of new products last year, has another set of really promising bikes lined up for the AETMS 2016. One of the biggest announcements from Honda at the Expo has been the new ‘Navi’ brand, which is cross between a scooter and a bike. Also, on display are refreshed products, the Africa Twin and a couple of conepts. The NAVI was first announced on January 1, 2016, when the manufacturer greeted the nation a ‘Happy NAVI year’ and promised that it’s “Here to change the way India plays with two wheels”. Honda Bikes at Auto Expo 2016 – Navi
The NAVI is the ‘next big thing’ from HMSI and this bike/scooter will be the first product to kick off Honda’s onslaught of new vehicles in 2016. The Navi is a mix between a scooter and motorcycle featuring very distictive styling, customisation options and head turning looks. It is powered by a 110 cc engine which puts out around 8 bhp. The Navi has been launched a starting price of just INR 39,500!

Honda Africa Twin at Auto Expo 2016
The new Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin marks the rebirth of the legendary Honda XRV750 Africa Twin. The bike is being showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. The bike will be launched in India and will be assembled locally to keep costs in check. The Africa Twin draws power from a 998cc parallel twin engine which churns out 93.87 bhp @ 7500 rpm and 98 nm of twisting force @ 6000 rpm with a slipper clutch assisted six speed gearbox transferring all the power to the rear wheel.
Honda Bikes at Auto Expo 2016 – NEOWING, CX-02 and EV-Cub
At the Expo, Honda is showcasing what it calls as the ‘future of mobility’ in the form of the new EV-Cub Concept (an environment-friendly personal commuter for short distances) and NEOWING (a three wheeled hybrid-powered vehicle). Other than these two highly interesting concepts, HMSI will also put on display two new concept models.
Honda Bikes at Auto Expo 2016 – Marc Marquez’s RC 213V MotoGP Racing Bike
Easily the most exciting model for all the racing buffs visiting HMSI’s stall will be the Marc Marquez’s RC 213V racing bike. It maybe noted that it will be the first time that Indian biking aficionados and racing enthusiasts will get to meet Honda’s MotoGP tool in flesh.
Other than these new products, safely expect Honda to showcase its existing line-up of products. This means that the manufacturer could showcase all its recent launches along with halo products like the CB1000R and the Goldwing.
