Hero MotoCorp, which has been the undisputed leader of India Two Wheeler market since time immemorial, is showcasing some of its future models at the upcoming event. Rumours abound that the Hero HX250R quarter-litre faired-motorcycle, which has already been showcased at the last edition of Auto Expo, will be again the show stopper at Hero’s stall have been laid to rest as the bike has not made an appearance at the event. However, there are a couple of new bikes and a handful of interesting concepts and new variants of existing Hero bikes in India at the Auto Expo 2016. Hero MotoCorp will launch the Xtreme 200 S in 2017. It will serve as a competitor to the new TVS Apcahe RTR 200.

Hero Bikes at Auto Expo 2016 – Duet E
The Duet-E is an electric scooter concept aimed at providing a comfortable and environmentally friendly alternative to customers looking for a scooter to get around the city. It is based on the Duet scooter that was launched last year and points towards a cleaner, greener future.

We also expect Hero to showcase a toned down, production-spec version of the Dare concept scooter that it displayed at the last Auto Expo. This scooter will be powered by a 125cc, single cylinder engine that is likely to come mated to a CVT. The scooter will have a maximum power of 9.1 bhp and peak torque of 9.5 Nm. This scooter will also have a set of telescopic forks at front.
