Toyota India has increased the prices of most of its cars in India by up to 1.5% effective from April 1, 2011. The price increase can be blamed to the ever increasing price of the raw materials and maybe a partial impact of the Indian union budget 2011. The price increase for different models of Toyota cars in India is as follows:
- Toyota Innova MPV prices increased between Rs. 12557 to Rs. 18424
- Toyota Corolla Altis Diesel Sedan prices increased between Rs. 14100 to Rs. 17700
- Toyota Corolla Altis Petrol Sedan priced increased between Rs. 10400 to Rs. 14500
- Toyota Fortuner SUV prices increased by Rs 20000
