Think again if you thought Fiat India has given up on the Linea. The Indian subsidiary of the popular Italian car giant has silently launched a new limited edition model of its Linea upper-C segment sedan. Dubbed as the Fiat Linea Elegante, the new model is available at all Fiat India dealerships across the country and has been introduced in a hope to rekindle the interest of prospective car buyers in the slow selling sedan. The new Linea Elegante is available only with the 1.3-litre Multijet turbodiesel motor. As with most such limited editions, the new Linea Elegante doesn’t get any mechanical updates. The Fiat Linea Elegante special edition is available at Fiat dealerships. Hopefully, this special edition will help pull mid-size sedan buyers, who have been giving the Linea a miss, to Fiat showrooms. The Italian four-wheeler manufacturer just recently launched the Fiat Abarth 595 Competizione and will soon launch the Abarth versions of the Punto and Avventura.
