The next big player heading towards the Indian market is Koenigsegg whose very popular sports car Koenigsegg Agera is all set for its official launch on the 29Th of March 2011. So basically this year will prove to be the best year so far since we are not only seeing major global manufacturers stepping into India but also some very important launches from the Indian manufactures as well.
The owner of InterGlobe Enterprise who also owns Indigo airlines has been appointed as the official retailer for the products of this Swedish car manufacturer. Briefly talking about the qualities of this masterpiece, it can sprint form 0-100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and has a jaw dropping top speed of 400 km/h. Comparing this machine with Bugatti Veyron, the performance levels of both are at par but there is a significant price difference which could give Koenigsegg an edge over the other.
The car is said to be priced around Rs.10 Crore which is way cheaper than the Veyron and hence customers may opt for this car over the Bugatti. So we must wait for a month or so to see which of the two does well in terms of customer satisfaction and power for money.
