The Pulsar brand of motorcycles is easily the best thing to have happened to Pulsar in the last decade and a half. Bajaj has already launched three new Pulsar models this year, and various reports suggest that it is readying another three new Pulsar bikes for a launch in the current fiscal. The list of upcoming Bajaj Pulsar bikes in India include the Pulsar CS 200, the Pulsar CS 400 and the Pulsar SS 400. However, a new rumour states that BAL’s product offensive isn’t limited to the aforementioned trio, and the manufacturer could be working on a new 200cc Pulsar that would be racier than the RS 200! Expected to be christened as the Pulsar SS 200, the upcoming ‘super sport’ Pulsar would become the most advanced Pulsar ever. This new Bajaj Pulsar sports bike will go on sale before the highly awaited 200cc twins and would be pricier than the RS 200. The rumoured new Bajaj Puslar sports bike will be a direct rival to the KTM RC 200, which simply means that the upcoming Bajaj product would be a threat to its not-so-distant cousin. It maybe noted that Bajaj has refrained from promoting the RS 200 as a ‘track-oriented’ motorcycle, and instead, would like us to believe that the RS 200 performs the role of a sports tourer. The SS 200, on the other hand, will be a track-ready motorcycle. Unlike the RS 200, which is as much as 20 kgs heavier than the 200 NS, the SS 200 could weigh only as much as the naked sibling. Powering the motorcycle will be the same 200cc, fuel injected, single-cylinder motor that powers the RS 200. But you can safely expect the motor to get a minor power bump for the SS 200. The motorcycle could also get USD front forks and ABS.
If and when launched, this all new Bajaj Pulsar sports bike (SS 200) will divide the new generation Pulsar line-up into four categories – NS (naked sport), RS (race sport) , AS (adventure sport) and SS (super sport).

Bajaj Pulsar CS200
- Expected Launch- Nov 2015
- Expected Price- INR 1.25 L
- Engine- 200cc, 23 PS
After the launch of the Pulsar 150 NS/180 NS, BAL is expected to introduce the CS200! The CS200 could look much like the CS400, and will share its engine with the RS200.

Bajaj Pulsar SS400
- Expected Launch- January, 2016
- Expected Price- INR 1.95 L
- Engine- 373cc, 42 PS
The SS400 will share its 373.6 cc single cylinder engine with the RC390, but the motor is expected to be slightly de-tuned in favour of higher fuel efficiency. Price is expected to be around INR 2 lakhs.
Bajaj Pulsar CS400
- Expected Launch- January, 2016
- Expected Price- INR 2.12 Lacs
- Engine- 373cc, 41 PS
The CS400 would be priced slightly higher than the SS400. The CS400 boasts of some premium bits like USD front forks and a really stylish set of alloy wheels.
