Honda Cars India launches new top-end grade for the City sedan
Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has just announced the launch of a new top-end grade for its City mid-size sedan. The newly launched VX(O) grade finds itself positioned above the existing VX grade and is available on both the diesel and petrol manual transmission engine variants. The highlight of the new grade for the Honda City is its Advanced Integrated Touchscreen Audio Visual Navigation (AVN). The City has also get a new exterior paint option – White Orchid Pearl. While the price of the newly introduced grade for the Petrol MT engine variant is INR 1,064,000, the new VX(O) grade for the iDTEC diesel variant has been priced at INR 1,183,500 (ex showroom New Delhi). The new Honda City also gets newly introduced Security Alarm feature and 2 nos. of Transmitter Keys facilitating keyless entry which will now be available from S grade onwards. The new Honda City VX Optional grades can be ordered at all Honda Cars India dealerships across the country.

As we said, the just launched VX(O) grade comes with a touchscreen Audio Visual Navigation system. This system comprises of a large 15.7 cm Touchscreen which has satellite-based voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation, and in-car entertainment through DVD/CD Playback, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, i-POD, MP3 and FM/ AM. The system also comprises of a Rear Camera Display with Guidelines. The system comes with an integrated hands-free Bluetooth connectivity that enables the passengers to sync their phones with the system and use the screen for dialing, answering calls, accessing history, address book and playing music stored in phone over Bluetooth streaming.

The complete range of latest generation City in India now includes 14 variants. The City is available as E, S, SV, V, VX AND VX(O) (New) in petrol and diesel variants in manual transmissions. It is also available in SV and VX CVT petrol variants.
