It is not just the Platina, Discover and Pulsar line-ups that Bajaj Auto Ltd has been busy updating. The manufacturer has also been focused on updating other products in its portfolio and as a part of this strategy, it came up with as many as three new variants of its Avenger cruiser motorcycle. It maybe noted that the Bajaj Avenger, whose roots can be found in the erstwhile Kawasaki Eliminator, was until recently on sale in just one variant, which shared its 220cc mill with the Pulsar 220. Now, however, the Avenger is on sale with two engine options and in two styles. And from the looks of it, the manufacturer has got it really right this time around; what with the updated cruiser motorcycle not just flying past its sales target but also posting unprecedented sales records?
The new Avenger range clocks an average monthly sales figure of around 25,000 units, which is almost three times of initial sales target of 9,000 units. The new 150cc variant contributes to around 10,000 units, while the two 220cc models account for the remaining 15,000 sales. We’ve already discussed in detail about the latest Avenger range and here, in this report, we have put together all the available details on the new model Bajaj Avenger.

New Model Bajaj Avenger Design
The new model Bajaj Avenger 2015 comes in Street and Cruise variants. The Cruise variant is available only with the 220cc engine option and looks much like the outgoing model. The Street variant, on the other hand, can be bought with either a 150cc or a 220cc engine and comes with new color schemes and a host of new styling bits, such as – new black mag wheels, new black-painted exhaust, black-painted engine, new grab-rail, new instrument cluster, and a new black handlebar. The updated Avenger definitely looks a lot cooler than the model it is about to replace.
