2015 model Suzuki Swish 125 cc automatic scooter launched
Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) recently launched the 2015 model Suzuki Swish 125 in the fast growing automatic scooter segment of Indian Two Wheelers market. For the 2015 model, the Swish gets refreshed styling and a handful of additional features. The technical specifications, however, remain identical to the outgoing model. The new 2015 model Suzuki Swish goes on sale for INR 56,482 (on-road Delhi).
Styling
In essence, the 2015 model’s design is akin to that of the model it replaces. However, it gets some new decals and blue-tinged position lamps to look a bit fresher than the outgoing model. The updated scooter is available in four colour combos – Metallic Sonic Silver/Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black, and Candy Dark Cherry Red/ Glass Sparkle Black.
Features
The 2015 Swish gets a new instrument console that carries additional features such as service reminder, dual trip meters and digital clock. The scooter also gets a maintenance free battery, tubeless tyres and easily repairable steel fenders.
Specifications
As we said earlier, the Swish remains mechanically unchanged and hence, continues to be powered by the same 124.5 cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine that powered the earlier model. This engine belts out a maximum power of 8.58 bhp and peak torque of 9.8 N and comes mated with a CVT. Braking duties are courtesy of 120 mm drum units on each wheel.
