The 2014 Volkswagen Vento facelift will be launched soon, and according to a new report the date will be in September 2014. Just like the recently launched Polo facelift, the Vento too will receive a facelift inside out, some new features and most important of all, a new engine.
Changes made to the Vento may be limited to the ones we saw on the Polo facelift. Which means we should see the Vento get new headlights (which may be limited to the higher variants), new bumper design, new grille, cornering lamps, the orange paint option may be carried over from the Polo and a new alloy wheel design may also be added.

Inside the Vento will receive the 3-spoke steering that was introduced on the Polo, silver inserts around the centre console, new seat fabrics and a new Multi-information display (MID) on the instrument cluster.
Under the hood, the changes will be similar to the Polo. Which means that the new Vento will get the 1.5-litre diesel engine which will replace the 1.6-litre TDI engine. There is speculation that the diesel could be tuned to produce 104 BHP and 250 Nm of torque and may be offered with a 6-speed DSG as an option. The petrol variants of the Vento will continue to be powered by the 1.6-litre petrol mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and the 1.2-litre TSI mated a 7-speed DSG.
