Nissan India launched the iconic GT-R on December 2, 2016. The GT-R is finally here after years of waiting, planning and contemplation on Nissan’s part. Previously, the launch was under doubts as Nissan India was worried about not having the necessary infrastructure to service the GT-R, something which doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore. The manufacturer has also unveiled the Nissan High Performance Centre in Noida NHPC). It will be exclusively responsible for the GT’-R’s sale and after sales support in India. Nissan GT-R India Launch took place at an event in Mumbai with John Abraham also present there as the brand ambassador. It has a price tag of Rs 1.99 Crore (ex-showroom Delhi)

Known for its stunning power and impeccable handling, the Nissan GT-R sports a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing a chest thumping 570 PS and 637 Nm of torque. All this power is transferred to all four wheels through a dual-clutch six-speed semi-automatic gearbox. The claimed 0-100 kmph sprint is covered in less than 3 seconds and the car hits the top speed of a mind-numbing 315 kmph.
