The 2025 Kia EV comes with a few enhancements over the outgoing model, including a bigger battery pack
We recently got the opportunity to perform the acceleration test of the 2025 Kia EV6. Kia has been having a great time on the sales charts in the last few years. Offering products in all major segments, it has wooed customers with its feature-laden cars. Unsurprisingly, it has also achieved decent success in the EV space. The EV6 was its first electric car in the country. It recently launched the EV9 flagship electric SUV in our market as well. For now, let us take a look at the details of the new 2025 Kia EV6.
2025 Kia EV6 Acceleration Test
As a part of the recent media drive, we decided to test the straight-line acceleration of the 2025 Kia EV6. This is a great excuse to test the inherent torque delivery associated with electric cars. For the first round, we managed to clock a time of 3.19 seconds to reach 80 km/h, 5.12 seconds to reach 100 km/h and 7.08 seconds to reach 120 km/h. These are some pretty decent numbers. However, to maintain consistency of results, we had another go. This time around the times for the same milestones were 3.14 seconds, 5.03 seconds and 6.23 seconds, respectively. An almost 5-second 0-100 km/h acceleration time is already supercar territory.
