Nissan has unveiled its global sedan called the Nissan Sunny in China. The sedan is based on Nissan Micra small car which has been launched in India this year. It uses Nissan Versatile V-Platform for Cars. Recently Nissan has also come out with the Nissan Micra Diesel which is expected to boost the sales of Micra. Nissan Sunny is a beautiful sedan with pleasing exteriors, comfortable and classy interiors and a loads of potential to compete with the Sedans globally and in India. It is expected that Nissan Micra sedan Sunny will be launched in Indian in second half of 2011 with a different name as Sunny name in India is already registered by another automobile major for its scooter.
Nissan Global Sedan has been launched at the 8th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition. Using the famed ‘Sunny’ name in China, this new model will go on sale first in China in January 2011 and then progressively across 170 countries worldwide under different vehicle brand names.

MacPherson struts are used for the front suspension and a torsion beam for the rear suspension, making for sporty and agile driving at low speeds, and steady and stable driving at higher speeds.

There is no official word on the pricing of Nissan Micra Sedan Sunny In India. We expect the the pricing will be kept very completive considering Maruti Swift Dzire , Toyota Etios , Volkswagen Vento and other small sedans already clocking good sales in India. To claim its slice of the Indian auto market, Micra has be be priced somewhere between Rs. 5 and Rs. 8 Lakhs for various variants. Also we expect that it will be available in Manual transmission for most of the variants, while the automatic transmission may or may not be available in India.
