Indian streets are full of unfathomable instances, and this is the latest case in point
In a rather astonishing turn of events, a man from Murshidabad made a car out of his bed to drive on the road. Yes, you heard that right! India is home of some of the most unbelievable creations, particularly pertaining to automobiles. I have reported innumerable cases of people trying all sorts of activities to go viral. However, I must admit this latest one is totally rare and hilarious. Let us glance at the specifics of this case here.
Man Turns His Bed Into Car
We came across this weird instance courtesy of timesofindia on Instagram. The visuals are nothing short of shocking. A man is sitting in his bed and driving on the road from it. At first glance, it is almost impossible to see the involvement of any machine. The man has done a commendable job of concealing everything. Only the bed with a mattress, bedsheet and pillows are visible. Needless to say, everyone around him is making a video. Towards the end of the video clip, he even stands up and greets everyone around while the bed-car is moving.
This case stems from Murshidabad. The man in question is Nabab Sk, who had a dream of going viral. He was so obsessed with this bed-car that he sold his wife’s jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh and took one and a half years to come up with this bizarre contraption. He is a resident of Domkal and drives a school van for a monthly salary of Rs 9,000. However, he said that this was his dream car for which he invested so much time, energy and money. Needless to say, social media users had a mixed reaction ranging from curiosity to anger.
My View
I must admit we keep experiencing an insane amount of bizarre activities and instances in the country. In a bid to go viral, people adopt all sorts of routes without thinking twice. This latest case is a perfect case in point. The man was so obsessed with creating this moving bed that he leveraged his wife’s jewellery and his time to come up with this. Unfortunately, it only adds to the road safety concerns already prevalent in India. I would encourage our readers to never support anything which makes our roads dangerous. We already lose lakhs of lives each year in road crashes. Let us do everything we can to better that going forward.
