The electric vehicle from MG Motor India broke all records for the brand after receiving massive bookings ever since its launch
In a rather concerning incident, Sonu Sood’s wife was involved in a serious accident in an MG Windsor EV. Windsor is one of the most feature-laden products in its segment. This includes the latest tech, connectivity, convenience and safety amenities. The latter ensures that the vehicle is able to offer high levels of safety to the occupants. With the number of road accidents increasing in India, this has to be the most relevant aspect of a car. For now, let us delve deep into the details of this case here.
Sonu Sood’s Wife’s Accident in MG Windsor
We came across this video on the Nikhil Rana YouTube channel. This channel features content around mass market cars and their performance in real-life crashes. On this occasion, the visuals capture the aftermath of the accident of a MG Windsor in which Sonu Sood’s wife was travelling. As per various online reports, Sonali (Sonu’s wife) was in the car along with her sister, while her nephew was driving. Reportedly, the EV hit the back of a truck as they were leaving the Nagpur airport.
The condition of the vehicle demonstrates how severe the crash was. Thankfully, the airbags were deployed and all three passengers escaped with minor injuries. Sonu Sood confirmed that, “She is doing fine now. (They) had a miraculous escape.” A source close to the family said, “They were provided with medical attention for their minor injuries. The car, of course, has been damaged. Airbags played a crucial role in their safety.” Evidently, the airbags did their job and potentially saved the lives of the passengers.
My View
It is always a great idea to follow all the traffic rules and regulations regardless of the situation. They are meant to keep the road users safe. Note that even though modern cars come with all sorts of active and passive safety amenities, there is no substitute for safe driving. Let us pledge to be responsible drivers and adhere to the traffic protocols in place.
