The Honda Elevate is also the first ever Made-in-India model which is exported to Japan
Honda Elevate has achieved a rather impressive milestone of crossing 1 lakh cumulative sales. This number includes domestic, as well as exports. Elevate is a mid-size SUV from the Japanese carmaker. It belongs to one of the most crowded segments in our market. Almost every major auto giant has a model in this space. To still post such sales is a testament to its appeal. For now, let us glance at the details of the breakdown of these sales numbers.
Honda Elevate Crosses 1 Lakh Cumulative Sales
As per the official press release from Honda, it managed to sell 53,326 units of the Elevate in India and exported another 47,653 units to countries like Japan, South Africa, Nepal and Bhutan until January 2025. That indicates the global standards of manufacturing for Honda’s Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. In India, a whopping 79% of customers opted for the CVT automatic gearbox variants – V, VX and ZX. Furthermore, 53% of the sales came from top ZX trim which offers ADAS via Honda SENSING. In terms of body colours, 35.1% of customers went for the Platinum White Pearl.

Honda Elevate shares its powertrain options with the City. This means a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which generates a familiar 121 PS and 145 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. Performing transmission duties is either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. Unlike the City, however, there is no strong hybrid variant on offer. In the CVT version, the claimed mileage is 16.92 km/l, while the manual offers a fuel economy of 15.31 km/l. The prices range from Rs 11.69 lakh to Rs 16.73 lakh, ex-showroom.
