Kia has attracted huge interest from customers with its second compact SUV in our market after the Sonet
Kia Syros has managed to bag an impressive over 20,000 bookings after the official launch on February 1, 2025. That is quite impressive since it caters to a slightly niche set of potential customers who are looking for something between the Sonet and Seltos. In all honesty, there aren’t too many direct rivals because there is barely any gap between the compact and mid-size SUV segments in India. Still, the Korean auto giant has been able to offer a distinct product which has a basis in its international lineup which includes new-age design, high practicality and the latest tech amenities.
36 Kia Syros Booked Every Hour Since Launch
As per the official press release, Kia announced that the total bookings for the Syros have crossed 20,163 units. What is more fascinating is that 38% of these are for the automatic variants. Apart from that, 67% of the total bookings are for the petrol trims. Since it is aimed at people who prefer all the bells and whistles, it comes as no surprise that 46% of buyers went for the top variants. In terms of colour preferences, 32% of customers chose the Glacier White Pearl paint, while 26% and 20% want the Aurora Black Pearl and Frost Blue, respectively. It is one of the most feature-packed products in this space. The main highlights incorporate:
