This new version will directly rival the Tata Safari Dark Edition offering buyers an alternative
The Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition has finally been launched in India. We have seen some carmakers opting for such dark edition models of their cars to cater to customers who want the all-black theme. Generally, this theme is associated with sportiness. In fact, Tata Motors offers an entire range of Dark Edition cars for most of its models. Aiming to challenge the flagship Tata SUVs in this distinct guise, the Carbon Edition of the Mahindra Scorpio N has arrived.
Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition
This special edition is available only with the Z8 and Z8L trims of the Mahindra Scorpio N. It boasts a nominal premium of Rs 20,000 over the corresponding variant. Furthermore, it is available only with the 7-seat arrangement. The prices start from Rs 19.19 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 24.89 lakh, ex-showroom. For reference, these are more attractive than the Tata Harrier Dark Edition on both ends of the spectrum. On the outside, the Scorpio N Carbon Edition gets a de-chromed setup. This includes the front fascia with smoked chrome and dark elements, 18-inch piano black alloys, dark Galvano finished roof rails, headlamps and taillamps with smoked chrome finish, smoked chrome door handles, etc.
On the inside, the in-cabin materials have also been turned black. For instance, the dashboard, which is tan on a regular model, is now black. Other bits include premium black leatherette IP with contrast deco-stitching on the dashboard, black roof liner, black door trims, etc. The features list remains the same with the main amenities including wireless charging, Adrenox with Alexa support, a 12-speaker 3D Sony audio system, ventilated seats, auto-dimming bezel-less IRVM, and much more.
