Now, the Ferrari Daytona SP3 is one of the rarest automobiles on the planet with only 599 units planned for production. Its history eminates from the memorable top three places at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1967. The mid-rear-engine sports car is the latest in the “Icona” series of high-performance cars after the Monza SP series. This marks the first return of Ferrari to naturally aspirated mid-mounted engines for the limited edition cars without hybrid electric systems since the Ferrari Enzo back in 2002. The gorgeous sportscar carries a 6.5-litre V12 mill which also powers the 812 Superfast.
It produces a mammoth 840 PS and 697 Nm of maximum power and torque, respectively. This mill pairs with a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The intake system has a redesigned manifold and plenum which reduces the overall length of the tracts and delivers power at high RPMs. It sits on the LaFerrari Aperta chassis which uses many carbon fiber elements to reduce weight. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h comes up in just 2.85 seconds, while the 0-200 km/h is possible in just 7.4 seconds. The price for the stock model starts at Rs 20 Crore. This makes it one of the most expensive vehicles on the planet.
