Chennai Dealer to Pave Way for Future Renault Dealership Remodelling
The newly inaugurated Ambattur dealership is a flagship facility featuring the company’s New Visual Identity (NVI). As part of this, the dealership boasts a refreshed logo in white on a sleek black faรงade. The ‘R Store’ aims to not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of Renaultโs retail spaces but also to elevate the overall customer experience through thoughtful interior design and service enhancements.
The new dealership layout places the vehicle display at the heart of the showroom to let customers easily explore the cars from all angles. In addition, key customer service areas such as after-sales reception, customer lounges, and sales advisor offices are placed around the perimeter, ensuring that essential services remain easily accessible to the customers. This launch in Chennai signals the beginning of a broader transformation for Renaultโs dealership network in India. The company plans to roll out the ‘R Store’ concept at all new outlets in India, with existing showrooms being gradually revamped to align with the new visual identity.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Venkatram M., Managing Director and Country CEO, Renault India, said, “The launch of the Ambattur dealership marks a pivotal moment in Renault’s journey in India. The fact that India became the first country to actualize the newโR store format reaffirms Renault’s India strategy. India is at the forefront of Renault’s global plans, and soon, the country will witness a completely revamped Renault, offering superior customer experience through acclaimed products, redefined sales experience and globally acclaimed aftersales services.”
By the end of 2025, Renault India aims to revamp nearly 100 dealerships, with full implementation expected by 2026. The โR Storeโ is part of Renaultโs broader strategy, Renaulution, which aims to revamp the brand, expand the product range, and optimize the dealer network. The opening of the Ambattur dealership highlights Renault’s high focus on India.
