Mercedes Benz India has opened its Authorized Service Center in Panchkula for Northern India region. The service station will service Mercedes-Benz buses – both two and multi axle with global standard services. Total area of 30000 sq. ft is being used for this with a team of trained personnel. The workshop has all the equipment, infrastructure and technology to take care of the buses service and repairs. This center can service two buses a day to cater to the needs of Panchkula, Chandigarh, Punjab Haryana and nearby area buses.
On the inauguration of this facility, Dr. Wilfried Aulbur (MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India) quoted:
